Christ of Vung Tau is a statue of Jesus standing on Mount Nho in Vung Tau, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.
The enormous 32m figure of Jesus gazing across the East Sea with outstretched arms, located at the southern end of the Small Mountain.
The Vietnam Catholic Association built the statue in 1971 and it was completed in 1993. There is a 133-step staircase inside the statue.
The two shoulders of the figure are balconies, each able to accommodate up to six people, which offer a splendid view of the surrounding landscape. The statue is definitely worth a visit.
