Established in 1962, Cuc Phuong National Park is Vietnam’s first national park and one of the most important protected areas in the country.
The park is located 120 km south of Hanoi, covers an area of 22,200 hectares into the territory of Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa and Hoa Binh Provinces. It is homes to 2,000 species of flora and 262 species of animals.
