Phung Hung old house, constructed in 1780, is one of the most famous architectural buildings that are considered to be the cultural heritage of Hoi An.
Located in the 4 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street in Hoi An, the old house is the general architecture of the three schools of architecture: Vietnam, Japan and China. The building stands on eighty columns.
Some other features of the old house include the Yin and Yang style roof, which is traditionally made out of convex designs. On the other hand the tiles that interlock the roof are made in concave design.
