Located in the earliest inhabited region in Hoi An, the Museum of History and Culture in Hoi An is the first museum to visit on your trip to Hoi An.
This museum is almost like a show-and-tell summary of the entire heritage of Hoi An.
The museum contains a great number of historical relics and housed the Quan Am pagoda, displays an extensive and varied collection of objects highlighting the development of Hoi An during the prehistoric and prehistoric periods, and the Champa and the Da Viet.
There are some old black and white photos of Hoi An taken in the early 20th century, an old canon as well as documents narrating the development of Hoi An, this is the town’s foremost museum.
