Monument to Kazimierz Kwiatkowski Polish Architect

The memorial of architect Kazimierz Kwiatkowsky (1944-1997) is located in Tran Phu Street between the Japanese Covered Bridge and the Phuoc Kien Assembly Hall.

The Polish architect and restorer lived in Vietnam for 17 years. He contributed to the restoration and preservation of the ancient town of Hoi An and the My Son Sanctuary.

In Hoi An, He is considered as the man who saved the historic town from vanishing and contributed to its recognition as one of a World Heritage Sites.
