Quoc Tu Pagoda is a Vietnamese Buddhist historical building that began construction in 1964, but was first finished in 2003 after many interruptions due to wars and financial difficulties.
The main complex of the pagoda spans seven storeys, with the first two open to the public.
Visitors are given access to view the beautiful Buddha statue that is the centerpiece of the pagoda and allowed to walk the grounds.
The surrounding gardens and lakes make Quoc Tu one of the better pagodas in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) for a relaxing explores.
