The Saigon River

Located in southern Vietnam, the Saigon River rises near Phum Daung in southeastern Cambodia and flows south and south-southeast for approximate 225 km, then empties into the Nha Be River.

The Saigon River is joined by the Dong Nai River 29 km northeast of Ho Chi Minh City, and then joined by the Ben Cat River just above Ho Chi Minh City.

The river is relatively significant to Ho Chi Minh City as the main water supply and the host of Saigon Port.
