Inaugurated in October 2010, the 262.5 meter high Bitexco Financial Tower is currently the tallest building in Vietnam.
The tower has 68 floors, a 50th floor helipad, and 3 basements. And on the 49th floor, Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) Skydeck has full, breathtaking panoramas of the city available for VND 200,000.
The building contains offices, shops, restaurants, a helipad, and a loung.
Bitexco Financial Tower is owned by a Vietnamese company, Bitexco Group and was designed by New York architect Carlos Zapata who is said to have taken his inspiration from the lotus flower.
The most interesting attraction for visitors is the observation deck which offers amazing view. The visitors to the Bitexco Tower are accompanied by a guide and there are touch screen boxes with information about city landmarks seen from the deck.
