The Botanical Gardens in Hanoi, or Vuon Bach Thao, is located between West Lake and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. This picturesque park was originally created by landscape artists from France in 1890. It covers a total area of 50 acres.
Towards the east side of the park, there is a place dedicated to the display of concrete sculptures.
The parks also offer jogging trails and sports like badminton and soccer. In the Garden visitors can also witness birds like White Throated Fantail, Oriental Magpie Robin, Japanese White-Eye, Asian Paradise Flycatcher, Red Whiskered Bulbul and Common Tailorbird.
