Apart from natural beauty, archaeological and historical significance, Ha Long Bay is also home to 4 fishing villages namely Cua Van, Ba Hang, Cap La and Vong Vieng with a total of over 280 households and 1,300 residents.
The floating village is home to generations of fishing families and many of the residents never leave, but grow up and grow old in this tiny unique world they are born into.
This is a magically calm place, an escape from the hustle of Vietnam streets. The village is a true water world, rising and falling with the tides, sheltered amidst limestone towers.
These fishing villages have maintained both a tangible and intangible marine culture and pulled lots of travelers both at home and abroad. Visiting the village, tourists will be charmed the villagers’ daily life and the traditional culture and customs of the fishermen, as well as will be welcomed with fresh seafood and folksong performance.
