Lang Bian Mountains is located 12 km north of center Dalat, ranged with its highest peak being at latitude of 2,169m above sea level.
The upper reaches of the mountain are forested. With its miraculous beauty and wild features, Lang Bian Mountains, which was named after Lang and his lover Bian in the past, attracts a large numbers of visitors, especially photographers who come to capture the second-to-non fairyland scenery.
This is an ideal place for mountain climbing, paragliding, trekking or studying flora and rare bird species. At the foot of the mountains is Lat Village, where the Co Ho Minority lives.
The hike up to the top of Lang Bian Mountain, from where the views are truly spectacular, takes three to four hours from the village. The path begins due north of Dalat and is easily recognisable as a red gash in the green mountainside.
