The American and French Bunkers in Hai Van Pass

The well-preserved 1950s French and 1960s American bunkers are located along the Hai Van Pass. The French came and built their bunkers there, and later on the Americans came and set up strategic positions in the same spot.

It provides a clear view for miles around without necessitating a steep climb.

The two bunkers were riddled with bullet holes, the one that easily access is the French’s bunker, and the one with roach-trap access is the American’s.
