The effect of Tsunami on Thailand On December 26,2004, the wrath of the Tsunami, notching Thailand’s one of the biggest disasters, damaged to Andaman provinces, Ranong, Pang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
The tragedy died 5,395; taped 8,457 and disappeared 1,762 people and also devastated 2,541 houses, 98 hoteis and resorts, leading to homelessness and the adverse effect on the country’s traveling industry. Furthermore, it ruined a large area of agricultural land and natural resources along 50 kilometers.
