Bang Bao is an interesting fishing village in the south of Koh Chang. It built up with poles pitched into the sea and the bridge reaching to every house is set up to link the community together. Many families open their houses and welcome visitors to shops, restaurants, and souvenir sales.
The village make a living by fishing and catching the plentiful soft cuttlefish. Home-stay accommodation is available for tourists who want to savor an authentic taste of village lift. The main attraction on Bang Bao is the long pier that heads out into the bay.
The sea in the area is relatively shallow and has plenty of beautiful gold-color corals.
