From beautiful traditional costumes and gorgeous girls, pumping beats and delicious cocktails to simply sit back and relaxing, Hua Hin offers a relatively wide range of entertainment options for those out and about in the evening.
Nightlife in Hua Hin is tamer and less wild than other popular beach destination in Thailand.
It offers relaxing nightlife mainly concentrated around local sidewalk café, bars, excellent restaurants and a large number of lively bars where the drinks are reasonable and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. There are plenty to do at night in Hua Hin.
The main thing is not to be afraid to try out these options. Hua Hin is a safe town and a bit of experimentation will only add to the pleasure of your stay.
There are good mixes of night markets, entertainment venues and even a cabaret show for those who like a little action after sunset.
Some of the big name hotels put on shows of music and classical Thai dancing for those who interested in the culture. Several British-style pubs, sports bars with wide-screen TVs and beer bars are gathered on Soi Bintabat, a small road located near Hilton Hua Hin Resort. In Khao Takiab, there are Cicada Market, a boutique outdoor market with live music, and Sasi, Thai Classical Dance and Dinner Show.
A Nightlife Guide in Hua Hin
The two night-markets, just to the north of the town center and the other in front of the Grand Plaza hotel, have some nightlife in and around them. The restaurants at the Hua Hin Night Market are good for seafood, drinks and hanging out.
There is also a nice bar at the far back right of the Grand Night Market. Live music lovers will also not be disappointed as there are various venues that cater for this. Some are air conditioned and almost all play rock music.
There are also nightclubs, the most popular of which is at the Hilton Hotel. Karaoke Bars can also be found in Hua Hin. Imported from Isaan or Northeastern Thailand, these bars specialize in loud Isaan music, flashing coloured lights and sexily dressed women crooning on stage. Many bars also have a selection of Western songs and Westerners are welcome to sing.
