Opened in 1923 as the Railway Hotel, this massive wooden structure is one of a handful of grand Victorian colonial-style hotels that have survived the ravages of time.

Located right on the beach, it sets a regal mood for all of Hua Hin. Meticulously restored and maintained by Sofitel, it is worth stopping in for a cocktail and a closer look.

Now known as the Museum Coffee & Tea Corner the areas displays original items from the hotel as well as antiques from a bygone era. The location has also been used as a setting for several Hollywood films; most notably the Oscar nominated “The Killing Fields”. The Museum has now become a popular place for afternoon teas in the Colonial elegance overlooking to the magnificent Elephant topiary garden.
