Shopping in Cha Am

Shopping in Cha Am

Even though not especially exciting as far as shopping is concerned, Cha Am caters many markets, mini-markets and convenience stores for visitors. Besides Cha Am Fresh Market, the Night Market or Talad Toh Rung in Thai is almost every day except Monday and Wednesday.

Located between Narathip Road and Chao Lay Road at the traffic light junction, visitors can find a lot of food and other things like clothes, bags or some local souvenirs.

The most bustling day is Friday when all shops are open to serve tourist influx. For mini-markets, the most worth mentioning here is Cha Am Memory. It is on the north of the beachfront, close to Narathip Junction. A Thai mini-market with a lot of western products, too, this old and decrepit shop boasts a well maintain stock.
