Museum of Floral Culture

Created by Sakul Intakul, an internationally-renowned Thai floral artist, The Museum of Floral Culture is Bangkok’s new tourist’s attraction especially developed for those who love flowers and nature and those who are interested in Thai art and culture with special focus on Thai floral culture which is an important part of the Thai way of life.

The Museum of Floral Culture also exhibits important floral cultures from civilizations across Asia such as India, China, Japan, Laos, and Bali in Indonesia.

The Museum of Floral Culture is located in the quiet residential area of Dusit District. Built in the reign of King Rama VI, The Museum of Floral Culture is a beautifully preserved 100-year-old teak mansion of colonial architecture, covering the total ground of 1,800 square meters of an impeccably-landscaped Thai-meets-Zen-style garden.

Dok Mai Thai Salon du
The Inspired by Sakul Intakul’s floral journeys through Asia, Dok Mai Thai Salon du Thé offers an enchanting repertoire of fragrant specialty teas. Some are distinctively floral, some are richly spiced, while others are just simply wonderful.

Workshops
The Museum of Floral Culture presents occasional workshops on traditional and contemporary Thai floral art.

Directions:
By Car: From Samsen Road Soi 28, turn left at Yaek Soi Ongkarak 13. The Museum of Floral Culture is about 30 meters away on the right.
By Boat: From Sathorn Pier (Saphan Thaksin BTS station), travel to The Museum of Floral Culture only on the Orange Flag Chao Phraya Express Boat. Get off at Payap Pier (N18). Then turn into Samsen Road Soi 28.
