Visitor center at the Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park headquarters is the focal point of the park’s educational programs. The center has outstanding exhibits on a range of information and slide shows available for visitors.
There are rental binoculars and telescope for watching shorebirds from many bird blinds during September to March, or you can just simply stroll around the nearby nature trails.
The Mangrove Nature trails and the horseshoe Trail located near the Visitor Center provide excellent opportunities to admire a variety of habitats and wildlife.
The horseshoe Trail may offer views of langur and macaque monkey, squirrels and an assortment of colorful songbirds, the best time observe wildlife and bird is early morning or before sunset.
The Mangrove Nature Trail offers views of mudskippers, monitor lizards, crabs, herons, kingfishers, egrets and a variety of other bird life.
