At Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, there are 3 types of primates inhabiting, visitors will often have a close encounter with at least one of them, and the park is well-known to be one of the best places in the world to catch sight of these mammals.

The dusky leaf monkey, or spectacled leaf monkey is a species of primate in the Cercopithecidae family. Dusky langurs inhabit in the rainforests of Thailand, Burma and Malaysia as well as nearby adjacent islands.

They prefer closed primary forest but can be spot in a range of different habitat types including urban areas and secondary forest such as plantations and parks.
