Located 16 km from the Sam Roi Yot park headquarters and about 2 km from Ban Bang Pu, Kaew Cave is one of the caves within the Khao Sam Roi Yod National Park.
The cave is a series of underground chambers and narrow passageways accessed by a steep scramble 128 m up the mountain.
It features many chambers joined by narrow passageways. There are many large transparent stalagmites and stalactites and when struck by light they sparkle like crystal (hence the cave’s name, ‘Jewel Cave’).
