Located 18 km outside the beach resorts of Sihanoukville, Ream National Park is one of the Cambodia’s most established national parks. It was established in 1993 and encompasses 21,000 hectares of coastal area including sandy beaches, the Prek Tuk Sap estuary, mangrove forests, off-shore coral reefs and two islands.
The park’s secluded, lush, white sandy beaches feel a world away from the likes of Serendipity Beach, packed with Western tourists. Ream National Park offers safari tours of the smaller mammals, walking tours of the mountain and birds and waterfalls. By the seaside, there are dozens of food stands, specializing in fresh delicious seafood.
