Kanchanaburi Town
Kanchanaburi is a bustling town some 230 kilometres from Hua Hin and a popular getaway. Perhaps the best way to get around town is by hiring a bicycle for 40 or 50 THB a day. Many guesthouses now offer bikes (as well as motorbikes), but there’s no shortage of rental shops. Given that Kanchanaburi is spread out for five kilometres along the river, it’s a practical way to explore the town.
